I am so so glad that I got persuaded to go, I had the best time. I was so lovely meeting other bloggers and getting to go to an event and meet new brands that I hadn't heard of before. Everybody was so friendly and I got to come away with some goodies.
All over social media there was talk about how rubbish the event was because of a situation to do with the meal. I didn't have anything to do with the meal so for me that wasn't an issue. As an event student and someone that wants to run events like this, I did have some issues with the event. Although the venue was lovely and I felt was perfect for the type of event it was, at points it was extremely overcrowded - And I mean to the point where nobody could move. This made everyone feel extremely uncomfortable.
As this was my first blogging event, I definitly learnt some new things.- Everyone has a business card, and brands ask for them, so get yourself one! - Be confident.- Ask as many questions as you like, people are happy to talk.
This is Willa Gebbie. She is a fashion illustrator. Although I waited over an hour in the queue and by the time I finished some of the brands had left. It was completely worth it, she was so friendly and drew the most incredible picture of me which now takes pride upon my bedroom wall. Go and check out her social media links, she is extremely talented!!

There weren't that many brands left, but here are a few pictures I took at the rest of the event.

All in all, I'm going to say that the event wasn't a total success, but I had a lovely time meeting new people and talking to brands, and I am so thankful that the girls pursuaded me to go! I'm really looking forward to the next event I get to go to!
